Dual Senegalese and Spanish national Alpha Diounkou came to Barça Atlètic in January 2022 on loan from Granada. In the summer of that year the clubs agreed to extend that period for another season.
The full back came through the youth system at Mallorca before leaving for Manchester City as an U19. In the summer of 2021 Diounkou signed for Granada and went to spend half the season on loan at San Fernando before completing the campaign at Barça B.
On an international level he has represented Spain at U17 level and Senegal at U20.
