Jesús Nazaret Aicardo 'Aicardo' was born in Cádiz on 4 December 1988. He began playing futsal in the youth teams of Cádiz side Tiempo Libre and then joined the squad of Géminis for one season. He moved on to Lobelle Santiago, who loaned him out to Virgili. Two years later, he rejoined Lobelle Santiago as a full member of the team.
Aicardo won the 2010 Spanish Super Cup and in the same year was voted LNFS Rising Star of the Season. In his final season with the club he finished fifth in the league, played the Spanish Cup Final and scored 19 league goals. After flourishing at Lobelle Santiago, Aircardo signed for Barça in June 2012.
He also made his senior debut for Spain 20 September 2010 against Guatemala, scoring twice. Some months later he would receive a call to take part in the Brazil Grand Prix, which the team won in great style. His most recent international outing came in the European Championships in Serbia in 2016.
A well-balanced player: uses his height, 181 cm, and pace to make his presence felt, especially in the air. Possesses quality and speed, and a powerful left-foot shot. He’s a specialist in double penalties, one of his duties with former club Lobelle Santiago.
