Gibson

Born in Texas on 4 July 1998, he came through the US college system with the University of North Texas (2017–20), the University of Oklahoma (2020–22) and DePaul University (2022/23).

In the summer of 2023, he crossed the Atlantic to begin his professional career in Germany. He made his debut with BG Göttingen during the 2023/24 season, playing 32 Bundesliga games and averaging 14.4 points, 4.9 assists and a performance rating of 14.3. His second spell in European basketball came in Serbia with Spartak Subotica.

For the 2026/27 season, he arrives at the Palau Blaugrana to strengthen Barça's backcourt after emerging as one of the standout players in the 2025/26 EuroCup with Cedevita. He played 20 games, averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 assists and a performance rating of 17.2.

Technical profile

A prolific scoring point guard, he thrives in a fast, high-tempo game and brings pace and dynamism to the team's offence. The American is also an excellent perimeter shooter, with the ability to knock down shots from beyond the three-point line and provide valuable scoring from long range.
