The blaugranes' next match is against Celta Vigo at Montjuïc (kickoff 4.15pm CEST 19 April) and Hansi Flick considers that "We should show our strengths, which is something we didn't do that well in Dortmund". Currently out in front in the race for the LaLiga title, the team have a game ahead that the German coach thinks will be "difficult" because the Celta "have a very clear playing style".

"Celta have a clear style"

Referring to the side from Galicia, he highlighted that "They are a very good team, with a brave style". He also had some good words to say about their 37-year-old coach Claudio Giráldez, staying that "It's fantastic to see his career, I really respect him".

Improve on the Dortmund game

When it comes to the opponent's good level of play, Flick assured that "we will have to play well" and "improve" on the recent defeat in Dortmund (3-1). However, he went on to say that "We have to be positive. We analyse everything and the team know what they have to do tomorrow. I hope they can do it".

A very demanding schedule

Let's not forget that this game is just another in a very demanding schedule of matches. Despite the limited time to recover, the German coach "doesn't want any excuses", but he asked for a bit more protection for clubs at this stage of the season. However, he took time to praise his players, adding "I am proud of them because they give everything".

He mentioned Kounde, stating he "is an incredible player and in top physical condition, as well as Lamine Yamal, adding that he "is a 17-year-old genius. If the data and he himself says he is fine, he will play, just like the others". Going on to Iñigo Martinez, he defined him as a "total leader", and on Olmo and Fermín, he said that "Olmo is ready, but we'll see on Saturday. Fermín did very well too".
