Pol Valera came to Barça in the winter of 2023 from Fraikin Granollers where he made his debut back in the 2017/18 season.
In the 2018/19 season the centre back became a fixture in the Catalan side and each season he developed his game yet further.
The Catalan defender can play at centre back or left back in the team and this versatility has seen his stats improve dramatically in recent seasons as in 2021/22 he scored 154 goals, 5.31 per game, in his 29 league appearances.
