The Social and Penyes Comissions are collaborating organs of the Board tasked in particular with developing activities within the Social Area of the Club and are appointed every season by the board.

The main role of both commissions is that of representing FC Barcelona in the various events, social, institutional or sporting in which they are required, especially those organised by the supporters clubs as club ambassadors.

Amongst their objectives is to transmit and encourage the sense and historical values of the club such as civic mindedness, social integration, good sportsmanship, solidarity, democracy, Catalanism, universality and other values which reflect the commitment of the club to society as a whole.

A further objective is to help and develop the global positioning of the concept of “more than a club in the world” (Foundation projects such as the collaboration with UNICEF and Solidarity Schools).
