FC Barcelona men’s football team set to take over from the Women’s football team and enter the pitch wearing the jersey featuring the Colombian artist’s logo at the Bernabéu on Sunday

After Barça Women first wore the jersey featuring KAROL G’s logo during the big win against Villareal, described in the Club’s match report as “setting the heart racing”, it’s now time for the men’s team to bring the Colombian artist’s heart to the Bernabéu pitch.

On Sunday at 9pm during the La Liga El Clásico match, KAROL G’s barbed wire heart logo will be worn by the Men’s team, as another example of how Spotify and FC Barcelona re bringing music and football together like never before. This moment celebrates those who change the game, overcome barriers and leave a legacy for the next generation to express themselves on and off the pitch - and the stage.

Those wanting to watch El Clásico wearing the same jersey as the players can do just that, with both exclusive versions of the game jersey on sale from the Barça Stores (the Madrid store too, of course), and via the Club’s e-commerce platform

Firstly, there is the FC Barcelona x KAROL G Limited Edition, with a batch of 1899 Match quality shirts available, and secondly, there is the FC Barcelona x KAROL G Signed Limited Edition, the more exclusive version, with only a batch of 22 Match quality shirts available, this time signed by the players starting the games in the Liga F and in El Clásico.

FC Barcelona, Spotify and KAROL G also have a limited edition of lifestyle clothing available through the artist’s official website, which includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, scarves, hats, and water bottles. The merchandising includes motifs that combine KAROL G’s vibrant visual imagery with the energetic world of Barça.

Action gone viral worldwide

Yet again the change of logo on the Barça jersey has gone viral in media and networks worldwide. In fact, the launch video for the campaign featuring men's and women's football first team players has racked up more than 35 millions plays on the FC Barcelona Instagram account in just one week. The photo gallery with the KAROL G jersey has also been liked 3.2 million times, with almost 12,000 comments posted.

Let's not forget a gesture that has gone global too, as KAROL G's partner, the singer Feid, wore the Barça jersey when performing at Coachella Fest, one of the world's most important music festivals held yearly in California. This is in addition to the campaign's notable advertising on banners in cities such as New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Medellín.
